Room Attendant
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Unload and load housekeeping carts with supplies.
- Clean the Hotel guest rooms and bathrooms as directed by Executive Houskeeper.
- Change linen and towels in guest rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel public areas.
This job requires ability to perform the following:
- Ability to perform lightweight house cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 200 pounds.
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.
- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
ยท Frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
Front Office Staff
Combined position encompassing Reservations, Front Desk, Switchboard Operator and Concierge.
Successful candidates will possess an outgoing personality and strong verbal communication skills. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not necessary. Working knowledge of Windows-based computer software is required. Preference will be given to applicants who are available to work the full season (May - October).
Dock Porter
Responsible for greeting guests upon their arrival on the island and assisting them with luggage and transportation needs. Heavy lifting is required.
Successful candidates will be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. or more with little effort. Outgoing individuals with strong verbal communication skills and organizational skills are preferred. Preference will be given to applicants who are available to work the full season (May - October).
