Where
is Mackinac Island? How do I get
to the island?
Answers to these questions can be
found on our Mackinac Island Information
page.
How
do I get to Harbour View Inn once
I'm on the island?
From the ferry dock, turn right
(east) on Huron Street (Main Street).
Walk along Huron Street for approximately
10 minutes (about three blocks).
Harbour View Inn is located on the
corner of Huron and Church Streets
next to Ste. Anne’s Catholic
Church. Hint: Follow the tall white
steeple of Ste. Anne's!
How
do I get my luggage to Harbour View
Inn?
When you arrive at the ferry docks
in Mackinaw City or St. Ignace,
ask the dockhands to tag your luggage
for Harbour View Inn. Your luggage
will travel on a cart on the back
of the boat to the island. Once
on the island, our dock porters
will pick up your luggage from the
Mackinac Island ferry docks and
take it directly to your room at
Harbour View Inn.
Do
you offer packages or package deals?
While we don't have any preset packages,
Harbour View Inn can build a custom
package for your Mackinac Island
getaway. For more information, please
call us at 906-847-0101, and we
will be happy to assist you.
How
do I make reservations?

exceptional luncheons and dinners

What
is there to see and do on Mackinac
Island?
A lot! Bike the 8.2 miles around
the island and stop along the way
to see Arch Rock, British Landing
Nature Center, Lover's Leap and
Devil's Kitchen. Visit Fort Mackinac,
a 219-year old National Historic
Site built by the British. Tour
the Mackinac Island Butterfly House,
a large greenhouse filled with beautiful
butterflies. Take a carriage tour
of the island, or explore Mackinac's
many trails on horseback. Spend
the day shopping downtown in Mackinac's
unique shops, and of course, don't
forget the fudge! For more information,
visit www.mackinacisland.org or contact
the Mackinac Island Tourism
Bureau: 1-800-454-5227.
Since
there are no cars on the island,
how do you get around?
Most everything on the island is
within a ten to fifteen minute walk
from the inn, so walking and biking
are the most popular transportation
choices. When those options simply
won't do, horse drawn taxis are
available to take you where you
need to go.
What
is your pet policy?
Harbour View Inn cannot accommodate
pets.
