Welcome to Harbour View Inn
Immerse yourself in the historic charm that has made Michigan’s Mackinac Island famous when you stay at the Harbour View Inn – a hotel with a fascinating history of its own. Located on spacious, scenic and beautifully landscaped grounds only a short walk from the best Mackinac Island attractions, yet away from the bustling traffic of downtown, this charming hotel complex offers the perfect romantic retreat just steps from it all.
Harbour View Inn is comprised of four unique buildings designed for a variety of styles and tastes. Our main building, Chateau LaFramboise, is furnished in an elegant blend of French and Victorian decor. The Carriage House and Guest House are cottage-style buildings located behind Chateau LaFramboise and separated by a secluded, meticulously maintained courtyard.
Our fourth building, The Cottage at the Harbour View Inn is located to the west of the other three buildings. Here, guests can relax on the wraparound front porch and enjoy the intimate breakfast/common area. Hotel accommodations offer a variety of views including the magnificent harbor, exquisitely manicured courtyard or street and neighborhood nearby. Guest amenities include a free continental breakfast each morning and complimentary Wi-Fi. Conveniently located near downtown Mackinac, the Harbour View Inn is an excellent choice of hotels for experiencing all this destination has to offer. We also offer bike rentals at the hotel for those who wish to explore Mackinac Island at their own pace.
Our warm and friendly staff are always happy to assist guests with any questions they have. Stay with us and experience one of the finest island retreats Michigan has to offer.
As we celebrate the Bicentennial of our chateau we are pleased to announce one of our beloved lilac bushes has been deemed the largest of its type in the state of Michigan. Read more information here.
