We recommend passage to Mackinac Island by ferry provided by Shepler’s with service from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace. Harbour View Inn dock porters will be waiting for you at the head of the dock. Please identify your luggage for them before coming to the hotel to check in. Baggage storage is available for early arrivals and late departures.

Mid-May through early October is the main visitor season on Mackinac Island. Summer offers the most activities, dining, and events. Spring and early fall are quieter and ideal for couples, weddings, and relaxed island stays.

Harbour View Inn offers porters to transport your luggage to and from the hotel. Simply notify the boat crew which hotel you are staying at and we will take care of the rest!
